| Hey, what happened to you Brandon ? Were you pwning noobs online into the wee hours of the night ?
I played my vampire deck and came in second. One game, I was playing the other Brandon and he brought out an Ulamog early on. I think I still had 18 life, 3-4 lands and 2-3 creatures up. I conceeded pretty much right away. The doom blades in my hand were completely useless once the Ulamog was on the table. | |

| The deck to beat was Adam's Consuming Control it was brutally efficient. Second was Paul's Vampire Deck and third went to Adam's Koth Deck WinsThe turn out was 6 people and was great. It will be happening again next Saturday the 23rd be there or be octagonal. | |

| Cool, grats to Adam and Paul, nice decks.
Black-based decks definitely seem to be where it's at right now. The removal is so efficient and the color is able to answer most threats easily. Only thing I guess it really lacks is mass-removal (Consume the Meek can be slow) although I guess Ratchet Bomb helps if needed.
Will definitely try to make it to the next one! | |

| Can't remember if there is a tourney this Saturday. Regardless, I can't make it. My parents changed their plans and they are now coming to visit 1 day earlier than originally planned, so Saturday is out for me :-( | |
