| They should have just kept it at Eleventh Edition *sigh*
Anyway, post your thoughts about M10 here.

| I thought the set was great except the amount of reprints. I thought there should have been a lot more new cards. | |

| Although, the reprints are the point. The idea of having new cards is actually a core set first, which might actually become normal from now on. | |

| I think Wizards changing the name of the set from 11th edition to M10 was a bad move. They should have called it 11th edition. Releasing a new core set every year instead of every 2 years is just a cash grab by Wizards. Personally I prefer the core sets to be mostly re-prints. That way I don't have alot of new cards to buy if I already own the cards they are re-printing.
However, I love alot of the new cards in M10. Alot of good rares. | |

| I think you are right. It is just going to put too many cards in the standard block and make it to expensive for people to play. | |

| In just under 7 months M10 will be replaced by M11 as the new core set and people will have a whole new set of cards to purchase. The big problem I potentially see with that is, what if you just forked out $200 for a set of 4 Baneslayers and they don't get re-printed in M11. The Baneslayers will drop in value and they won't be playable in a Type 2 tournament :-( How much they drop in value is anyones guess. At least Baneslayer will see play in the Extended or Vintage tournaments. | |

| I can't find a reference but I had read previously that there have been statements made by Wizard devs saying that Baneslayer will likely be reprinted, at least in M11, perhaps not in following core sets but most likely the next one. | |
