Primeval Titan worth $50 ?

I drafted Primeval Titan in the M11 draft. I now see its going for $40 to $50 on ebay. I agree its a good card but what makes it worth so much ?

The 2 extra lands you get from the ability is pretty sweet. I figure that by the time you have 6 mana to cast this creature you are getting to the point where you don't need much more mana to play any card in your deck. I can see this working well with other landfall creatures.

How are people playing this card in decks right now to maximize its potential ?

He was featured in 2 new decks introduced in a Japanese PTQ, the first major tournament which include M11 in the standard format.

He is a win condition in a Valakut based deck, being able to tutor for more Valakuts and mountains to kill your opponent immediately, or during your next attack phase for sure.

He is also amazing in a Destructive Force deck, being able to survive 5 damage and rapidly rebuild your mana base.

He and Avenger of Zendikar make a powerful duo in any green ramp deck, which are currently rising in popularity.

Yeah this card is legitimately good. Better than I expected it would be when it was first spoiled.

Recently it was featured in a deck that won 1st place in the Australian Nationals (and was also in 2 other decks in the top 8 ), and showed up in 2 of the top 8 lists in the Canadian Nationals (one placed 2nd.)
