Magic/Poker/Pool Party Empty
PostSubject: Magic/Poker/Pool Party   Magic/Poker/Pool Party EmptySun Jul 11, 2010 5:11 pm

I would like to host a party at my place this week, either wednesday or thursdayor SATURDAY. If successful it could be repeated in the future.

activities would include:

-swimming/chilling in my pool
-$5 standard MTG tournament (most likely unsanctioned) but maybe (sam?)
-If anyone buys and brings a box of m11- draft...
- casual magic
-$2 beers or drinks.
-$5 texas holdem poker tournament.
- frisbee/ hackee sac in my backyard
-possibly acoustic jamming
- Probably Pizza for food, seems easiest and J's is 2 mins walk from my house.

It would start around 4pm with the tourneys when we get enough peeps. Go till midnight or so, maybe a little later.

If you are interested, post up here, or send me an email: adamschilt@hotmail.com.

Sounds awesome with the exception I work during the week, as does crocker so I don't think either of us could make it without taking time off.

Last Saturdays party was great. Can't wait for the next one.

On a side note I guess we were wrong and Adam was right. If you can't draw enough cards you lose the game. You don't have to wait until its your turn to be decked and lose.

Rule 102.3c says

When a player is required to draw more cards than are left in his or her library, he or she draws the remaining cards, and then loses the game the next time a player would receive priority. (This is a state-based effect. See rule 420.)

If you were to draw a card you would lose. If you were forced to put the top card of your library into your graveyard and you cant you wont lose on the spot.
