Is there something that you think would make the ASC forums a better place?

Any thoughts can be discussed here.

I think a "Figure and Strategy" section that included Heroscape would be nice, since Josh has shown up. Razz It could grow to include other games if other people are interested.

My son has a large collection of Heroscape figures. Dusk, Tristan and I used to play it quite a bit, but we haven't for a while. I think that'd be cool to build a giant Heroscape battlefield covering the entire back table one Saturday afternoon.

Heroscape lends itself really well to multiplayer and is very easy to learn how to play. I have a rulebook on .pdf I could upload if there's interest.

Yeah, the store doesn't do anything around organizing days for other activities.

I would like to do two things:

One would be some kind of Heroscape/Gaming Miniatures day where we can have a table free for this.

Another idea i previously had was to have an in-store game console and people cold play games on that.
My previous idea involved a Wii with Smash Bros.

If either of these would be doable I'd love that!

I'll tell you right now that I really think that the Wii idea on a regular basis would attract unwanted business, since the store really doesn't sell video games. On top of this, the TV is near the front of the store so it's a really bad place to be standing to play a game. It's not that I don't like the idea, but it just doesn't seem right at the moment...

(Reminds self to get someone on that Figure and Strategy section. *looks over at Brandon C.*)

There's lots of different variations of Multi-player Magic we could do.

Oh! Maybe we should have a two headed giant tournament!

We could select the pairings from random and go from there. Then you pray your 2 decks are compatible. lol!

I play several different board games. So for me a board game night would be great and would probably work well for the store since Jay does sell board games there.

Games I play on a fairly regular basis:

- Settlers of Catan
- Carcassonne
- Puerto Rico
- Alhambra

Other games I have played 2 or more times :

- Hacienda
- Agricola
- Serimissima
- Domain
- Memoirre 44
- Axis and Allies
- and many others

Hell I'd love to play Settlers of Catan! It's been forever since I have but its great! Heroscape seams like it would be cool for shits and giggles on a day when there is nothing else.

Anyone here ever play 'Mage Knights'?

I propose a dedicated Tournament subsection in the MtG area. It's beyond my power to make, otherwise I'd have that FIG/STRAT one up by now, too

This needs to be done.
